Terms of Use
Last updated: 29 October 2026
In short: everything on ReadingNova is free for personal, home and classroom use. Please don’t sell it, re-upload it or share the files elsewhere – share a link to ReadingNova instead. Thank you for helping us keep it free for every child.
ReadingNova’s colouring pages, colouring books, worksheets, posters and story books are made by our team to help children learn and have fun. These terms explain how you may use them. By using this website or downloading a resource, you agree to these terms.
Who owns the resources
All resources on ReadingNova – including the pictures, illustrations, text, designs, the Nova character, the ReadingNova name and logo, and the website itself – belong to ReadingNova and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Downloading or printing a resource does not transfer any ownership to you.
What you’re welcome to do – for free
- Print and use the resources at home with your own children or family.
- Use them in your classroom, school, nursery, childminding setting or home-education group – including printing as many copies as your children or pupils need.
- Colour pictures online and print or save your child’s finished work.
- Share a link to a ReadingNova page with friends, parents or colleagues.
What’s not allowed
- Selling any ReadingNova resource, or including it in anything that is sold – for example on Etsy, Amazon (including Kindle Direct Publishing), Teachers Pay Teachers, other marketplaces, print-on-demand products, printed colouring books, bundles or packs.
- Redistributing the files – uploading or sharing them on other websites, apps, social media groups, cloud folders or file-sharing services. Please share a link to ReadingNova instead.
- Removing or hiding the “© www.ReadingNova.com” mark, or claiming a resource as your own work.
- Editing or changing a resource in order to sell it or pass it off as your own.
- Using ReadingNova resources to train or build artificial intelligence (AI) models or datasets.
- Downloading resources in bulk using scripts, scrapers or other automated tools.
Teachers and schools
Teachers are very welcome to use ReadingNova with their classes. You may print copies for your pupils and put a link to ReadingNova on your school website or learning platform. Please don’t upload the files themselves to public websites. If you’d like to use our resources in another way – for example across a group of schools, or in a publication – please contact us first.
Asking for permission
If you’d like to use a ReadingNova resource in a way these terms don’t allow, please contact us. Permission must be given in writing.
Seen our resources being sold or shared?
If you spot ReadingNova resources being sold or shared somewhere else, please let us know – it really helps us keep everything free.
If these terms are broken
We may ask for the resources to be removed, report the misuse to the website or marketplace concerned, block access to ReadingNova, and take legal action where necessary.
Using the website
ReadingNova is provided free of charge and “as is”. We work hard to keep it accurate, safe and available, but we can’t promise it will always be error-free or available, and, as far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for any loss arising from its use. ReadingNova is made for children to enjoy with a grown-up; these terms are for parents, carers and teachers.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
